Many of our visitors have come to see Mountain Light as their spiritual home; a place they bring to mind or arrange to visit when it gets a little crazy “out there.” While we don’t have enough land for a actual residential community, we thought that the collective purchase of a large crystal was a way of giving everyone ‘part ownership’ in Mountain Light and a way of concretely anchoring their energy here.

We have given a new meaning to the idea of ‘intentional community.’ Each member is invited to write down their intentions and placed them beneath the crystal in the center of our flower garden. The idea is that as we focus our energy on the fulfillment of our own intentions, we are also adding our positive energy to all of the other intentions, giving a powerful cumulative effect for the highest good of all. So in this sense, we really are an ‘intentional community.’

We now have more than 100 members from six countries. Membership is simple; making a donation of any amount and placing your intentions beneath the crystal. Members are put on a special mailing list to receive information that doesn’t go out in the newsletter. We have a members directory and periodic gatherings here at the Sanctuary for community members.
