Light Summits What Are The Summits? The Light Summits were conceived in 1988 as a way to bring together a broad spectrum of activists in physical, mental and spiritual conscious raising activities and planetary transformation. We commonly refer to these as "lightworkers." The purpose of the summits is to network: getting to know each other, exchanging ideas and visions, sharing our challenges and exploring ways of working together across regional, national and international boundaries. Past summit participants have created many deep heart connections and opened new doors around the world for their work. The summits are unique. As a gathering of peers, there are no lectures, speakers, workshops, seminars or business meetings. All of our meetings are circular and designed, like a spiral, to carry us into deeper levels of connecting as the family of light. We use a flexible agenda which provides structure while honoring the spontaneity and movement of Spirit among us. Since 1988 there have been a total of sixteen regional, national and international summits in the USA, Mexico, New Zealand, Israel, Thailand and the United Kingdom. Summits are convened when there is sufficient interest in a country or region and a group or organization which is willing to host it.
