Light Link '97 Report
	International Light Link '97 Participants Share their collective energy with Mother Gaia on behalf of all light workers around the world.

Silvie, from the Czech Republic, was only 20. Sara, from Israel, was "something over 80." Separated by six decades and thousands of miles, these two found common ground with thirty one other Light Workers from nine countries at a small, remote resort in the mountains of east central New Hampshire USA as they came together in October to exchange ideas, experiences, visions and to explore ways to enhance international communication and cooperation within the Family of Light.

Like each of its predecessors, the Fifth International Light Link gave birth to a Spirit of its own; a Spirit best characterized by deep love, generous laughter, open hearts, and the spirit of re-union of those who were fulfilling an ancient pact to return at this time as gentle change agents leading to a positive planetary transition into a new era.

Gone were the workshops, lectures, seminars and - for the most part - ego. Apparent was the spontaneous movement of Spirit within and among the participants - like a ripple effect - as we gathered in circles of sharing, as peers, talking about our personal journeys, our work, our vision for the new era and what was happening in our corner of the world. From Israel, Canada, Egypt, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, the UK and the USA, we heard story after story of the quiet efforts underway with dozens of small groups involved in helping to birth a new consciousness on the planet. And we were acutely aware that, as only 33 participants from 9 countries, we represented only the tip of an iceberg.

Our circle sharings were only the focal point for the informal individual connections and sharing which took place after the session - at meals and often late into the night. As with previous Light Links, participants were provided with a context and an initial framework for networking. Soul group and past-life recognitions, and more inexplicable instant connections - defined the latter days of the gathering.

But it was not without concrete results. Participants who travel and lead workshops, seminars and lecture made lasting friendships with fellow light workers both at home and abroad and found among them those who were willing to help them expand their field of service in their local areas. Other joint projects, based upon the depth of real heart connections were made, and are also in the works.

The group was small. The numbers (33 & 9) were interesting. The intent of the gathering was fulfilled. Seeds were planted. It will be interesting to watch they will birth.

Where do we go from here? Definite plans for '98 have not been set. There is consideration being given to having a number of regional Light Links in '98 (Pan-European, Pan-American, Pan-Pacific and Middle East) with the idea of the 6th International Light Link again in 1999. As the Network continues to grow and expand, we will continue to explore new and more effective ways to link up the Family Of Light around the world.
